Celebrity Wedding Favors

When it comes to a celebrity wedding the expectation is for a lavish star studded affair. For the most part this is usually the case. Designer gowns, fabulous flowers, luxury venues & gourmet menus are all part & parcel of a celebrity wedding. So when it comes to wedding favors you would be forgiven for thinking that these sweet little gifts will be extravagant offerings matching a budget only a celebrity could afford.

But you may be surprised by what the celebrities chose as their wedding favors:

Avril Lavigne & Deryck Whibley gave their guests wedding themed guitar picks as wedding favors, printed with their initials & "Deryek picked Avril" or "Avril picked Deryek" written on them.

Liza Minnelli & David Gest had personalized wedding favors in satin candy boxes embossed with "Liza & David 4 Ever."

Toni Braxton's wedding favors were novel to say the least. Each guest had a napkin embroidered with the guest's monogram. After the reception the napkins were removed, dry-cleaned & packaged in Tiffany's gift boxes before being presented to the surprised guests.

Sam Huntington & Rachel Klein had custom made Hancock Baskets featuring a scrimshawed photograph of the Hancock Depot postcard on the lid. These were arranged on a table with bowls of candy & other confectionery. A small sign invited the guests to help themselves & fill a basket to take home.

Nicole Kidman & Keith Urban gave out the most glamorous wedding favors. They treated their guests to silver Tiffany clocks, engraved with the motto 'A moment in time, June 25 2006 - Nicole & Keith'.

John Stamos & Rebecca Romijn-Stamos gave their guests kitsch 70's inspired air fresheners as wedding favors. Each was printed with a 70's style photo of themselves & the words 'our love will last forever'. The couple then asked the valets to hang one each of the guest's cars.

So if you want to inject a bit of celebrity style into your wedding favors then take some inspiration from the above. As you can see, many of these won't cost the earth to buy & it would seem that it is not the wedding favor itself but the personalized message that comes with it.
